Dustin Wardrop

M.Arch

Core Designer

Dustin is a thoughtful and steady presence within the studio, known for his collaborative approach to design and extensive experience with materials. With a background shaped through hands-on fabrication, human-centric design, and cutting-edge research, Dustin supports his colleagues not only through design thinking, but also through understanding how 2D ideas are translated into 3D built form.

Methodical in his process, Dustin values precision and diligent design over grand gestures. While he appreciates conceptual clarity, he believes great architecture is realized through its details and exists to support those who will occupy it over time.

His perspective is informed by time spent working closely with materials and being immersed in the landscapes of British Columbia. He cares deeply about the role of the built environment while remaining grounded in its purpose—how it feels, how it functions, and how it supports daily life.

Outside the studio, Dustin draws inspiration from the mountains, forests, and ocean where he lives and works, spending time outdoors with his wife and their dog Shiloh, or on a pitch pursuing his lifelong passion for soccer.
