Deacon Green

With more than fifteen years working alongside the studio’s principal, he plays a steady and engaged role in shaping the day to day life of O4 Architecture. He focuses on strengthening systems, maintaining clarity, and ensuring projects stay aligned with their goals. His contribution lies in creating structure and momentum so that the team can focus on thoughtful, well considered design work.

Patient and optimistic, he approaches decisions by examining challenges from multiple perspectives and weighing both immediate and long term impacts. He values dialogue and remains receptive to insight from across the team, believing strong outcomes emerge through openness and shared thinking. 

He is deeply people focused and sees architecture as something experienced by everyone it touches. As a queer advocate for diversity and inclusion, he believes the most meaningful work is shaped by many voices and lived experiences.

Outside the office, he continues to create through sewing and exploring hair and nail artistry, drawn to the craft of transformation and self expression.
