Alex Palmer

Alex’s work is grounded in the belief that design decisions are most meaningful when they are connected to the people who will experience them. At O4, she is often a sounding board for strategic decisions, design challenges, and moments where clarity is needed. She brings structure to complex conversations without losing sight of nuance, helping teams move from uncertainty toward thoughtful, practical direction.

Her work is shaped by an interest in how spaces are experienced over time: not only how they look, but how they support daily routines, adapt to changing needs, and include people with different backgrounds, abilities, and ways of moving through the world. She values collaboration as a way to test ideas, build shared understanding, and strengthen the work itself.

Outside of the studio, Alex’s three cats are a regular part of her work-from-home rhythm, often serving as quiet companions and unofficial co-workers.
