Richmond Cultural Centre Annex

O4A was engaged to provide complete architectural and interior design services, including carrying a sub-consultant team on this Tenant Improvement to a previously unused city-owned facility. The New Richmond Cultural Centre Annex is ideally situated next to the Richmond Cultural Centre and the Tenant Improvement sought to: 

Build in supporting spaces and functions to complement the main cultural centre such as dance studios, technology lab, pottery studio, sound lab, administrative space, public lounge areas and multipurpose spaces and meeting rooms. 

Project tasks undertaken by O4A on behalf of the client include facilitating design workshops, and planning workshops, coordinating a full consultant team, design, and coordination process. Accessibility upgrades, coordination of all interior finishes and supplementary work towards implementing envelope upgrades, providing photovoltaic solar panels on the roof and. O4A worked closely with a construction manager to identify and produce an implementation schedule and refine the budget for construction.
