Engaged by the City of Richmond, O4 was tasked with the renovation and revitalization of a key event space within the iconic Richmond Olympic Oval, a hub for civic, recreational, and cultural activities. Home to diverse programming, including multi-use spaces, recreational facilities, and a cultural museum, the Oval is a vital part of the community. O4 has had the privilege of providing a range of design and management services for this landmark facility over several years.

The renovation of the Legacy Lounge transforms the space into a versatile, full-service venue tailored to the City of Richmond’s business development meetings, training sessions, and significant cultural events. Featuring a stand-up bar, a commercially equipped food prep area, and comfortable lounge seating, the space is designed with flexibility in mind. It can effortlessly accommodate a variety of activities—from presentations and learning forums to collaborative meetings and cultural gatherings.

The project enhances the functionality of an already vital community asset, providing a refined, adaptable space that supports both the daily operations and the dynamic events that define the spirit of the Richmond Olympic Oval.
